Solutions on Silicon Services

SoS Services provides equipment services to our customers on a service contract basis and process support on project contracts.

The service contracts can be for day-by-day service as well as PM based service with typically a 48 hour response time for machine down situations.

Today, particularly in Europe, we see many Fabs are investing in niche markets and products. In many situations this requires some alterations to the current tool set and reallocation of equipment or even complete tool sets.

In our involvement with these projects we have mostly also been requested to provide equipment and process support. SoS Service is very keen to assist with these projects and, together with our customers, to reduce as far as possible the time taken from the planning stage to ready for market.

SoS Service has further performed multiple Yield Improvement Projects together with our customers where we have achieved significant improvements within a relatively short timescale.
